Refuse & Recycling Collection Arrangements

New refuse and recycling collection arrangements came into effect the week beginning Mon 25 Sept 2006. Grey (landfill) and Brown (compostables) wheelie bins will collected on alternate weeks. Recyclables in bags (paper, tins, some plastic) will be collected the same day as Brown bins.
The way the new collection routes work out mean that not all properties in the Harberton website coverage area (=Harberton electoral roll area) will receive the same collection on the same day.
Remember, the collection type alternates each week. I hope eventually to obtain an electronic copy of the annual calendars as supplied to individual households by SHDC and incorporate them into this page for general interest.
