A substantial granite barn conversion, this comfortably furnished cottage has an abundance of destinations all within a half-hour drive. Blackpool Sands, Bantham and Paignton all have sandy beaches, there is a River Dart boat trip to Dartmouth from Totnes (Easter until end-October) with a return on the Dart Valley Steam Railway, and the Dartington Cider Press, the Otter Sanctuary, Buckfast Abbey and a butterfly farm are all close by. A short drive will reach three golf courses, the cities of Plymouth or Exeter, or the Dartmoor National Park. If all this activity sounds a little too much, the historic 13th Century Church House Inn is only three minutes' walk away, as the cottage is set in the pretty village of Harberton. Part of a courtyard development of private houses, low stone walls border the front lawns and the cottage has a completely private, fully enclosed courtyard at the rear. The owners, who live nearby, offer Bed and Breakfast for extra visitors if required. The cottage has a large, extremely well-equipped kitchen/diner, comfortably furnished sitting-room with wood-burner and spacious bedrooms.
