Additional help can always used on maintenance days and for other major projects. Please contact the above to volunteer your services.
The Management Committee meets regularly on the second Monday of each month, the night before the Parish Council meetings.
A further committee, the Executive Committee, whose members generally also act as trustees, meets every three months jointly with the Management Committee and is generally responsible for major policy and financial decisions. The Hall is a registered charity (reg. no. 1029648) and so has to meet the requirements of the Charity Commissioners in respect of constitution, management and financial matters.
The Annual General Meeting is usually held in May and new volunteers are encouraged to join either or both Committees. Membership need not involve a major time commitment, unless you want it to.
Are you a born organiser? Not many people are, and the few usually have frantic jobs that leave them little free time for anything else. But most people have some hidden talent.
Any organisation can always make use of additional funds. We have several major projects in mind: installing a ventilation system, hard-surfacing vehicular access areas, building additional internal storage facilities ... and I'm sure we could think of more.
Would you like to help fund-raise to support the Hall?
Is there an event you've always fancied organising? Well, if you do it on behalf of the Hall and/or Playing Field, of course you use the Hall for free.
