Harberton Village Email Circulation

Home   Contact us

The Harberton Village Email Circulation continues to grow steadily in parallel with the website. In principle it covers the same area as the website (260+ households), but can include interested parties beyond that area by request.

The aim is to offer a means of local communication for practically any purpose:
Forthcoming events at the Parish Hall, St Andrews Church, Church House Inn or elsewhere, Neighbourhood Watch notices from the local police, "small ads", lost & found, topical computer virus advice etc. Just send us your message by any means, even on paper, and we will do the rest.

Use the Contact us facility to send us your email address and add to the 120+ already "connected". All messages are circulated using the "Blind carbon copy" function so that complete confidentiality is maintained for your email address at all times unless you specifically include it in your message for circulation, or agree to it being included.

The service is open to anyone in the website area and is not restricted to those having internet access.

Computer viruses

Email, particularly when using Microsoft's Outlook / Outlook Express, is the commonest means of virus distribution. All input to the Harberton Village Website and Email Circulation is made on a computer protected by Norton AntiVirus which is updated daily to ensure best possible protection (although there can never be a 100% guarantee).
